just-runIt’s been a very hectic week, Modern Philosophers, and not necessarily in a bad way.  There are just so many thoughts rattling around in my head right now, that it was nice to take a break from life for half an hour this afternoon and get in a 3 mile run.

As much as I hate running, there are times when it is exactly what I need.  You see, not all of my thoughts are in good shape, so I can usually leave them in the dust and allow my mind to drift off to happier, less stressful places when I’m out on the road working up a sweat.

I worked a half day so I could get some errands done, and when all those tasks were completed, I didn’t even hesitate.  I put on my Running Toga, laced up my sneakers, and headed out the door.
